Christen
Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, University of Maryland
Christen has over 25 years of education and work experience in business and accounting. She started her career in the banking sector and migrated to government contracting. Utilizing the accounting experience from her employment with ITT Corporation, a long-standing government contractor, Christen launched AEA Accounting Support in 2005.
During this time, Christen has had the pleasure of working with a plethora of businesses in many industries. From distilleries to government contractors, she navigates the accounting needs of each company with ease and professionalism. Christen is an Elite ProAdvisor with Intuit QuickBooks Online and thrives in this cloud-based environment. Her ability to provide accurate, efficient, and affordable accounting support, with superb customer service, has proved to be what growing companies need.
Kristen
Education: Bachelor of Science in Health Science,
Purdue University
Kristen joined AEA in 2018 and is an amazing asset. Although Kristen’s background is in Health Science, she learned the bookkeeping ropes quickly and is an essential team member. Kristen is organized, punctual, and responsive, as demonstrated in each of the client files she maintains. Her ability to multitask and manage an array of clients is invaluable. Her client list includes pest control, home improvement, solar energy, and financial advisor customers. Kristen jumps in to tackle all sorts of projects at a moment’s notice to support the ever-changing needs of our clientele.
Madi
Education: Pursuing Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, University of Maryland
Madi joined the team in 2020. As a college student, Madi works part-time with AEA Accounting Support. Among the clients Madi supports is a business generating annual revenue exceeding $3M. She provides phenomenal accounts receivable support to this client, navigating complex fee schedules with diligence and precision. Madi is an indispensable team member who works seamlessly with Christen to ensure customer satisfaction.
Melodye (Mel)
Education: Master of Science in National Security Strategy, National War College; Bachelor of Science in Management Studies, University of Maryland
Melodye has over 40 years of experience in a variety of disciplines including purchasing, contract management, business and project management, human resources, and customer support. Following a successful career with the Department of Defense, she joined the AEA team in 2023 providing audit and reporting support.
